Ammo NYC maybe? Larry Kosilla formerly of DRIVE. You’d have to sift through his catalog to find the truly basic videos but he makes plenty of them :)

AmmoNYC is a great place to learn the process and some dos and donts, as well as hardware tips. Ive taken a liking to car cleaning guru because he gives a lot of feedback on a wide variety of products as someone who does mobile detailing.

Obsessed Garage is also a good source if you dont mind really long form stuff, and some over the top hardware (though I stress you can get by just fine with a hose and foam blaster).

To be honest I think AMMO NYC is probably the best as he teaches you safe ways to go about stuff such as starting with the least invasive.

He also teaches how to do stuff on different levels such as with brushes and cloths up to puzzi extractors.

The like of Chemical guys talk about their own products without expanding on it as do Adam’s.

Also if you can handle the slow Liverpudlian accent, Car Cleaning Guru does some good videos. I remember when he first started out, all those years ago. Lol.

Self proclaimed semi-pro tip: Use companies like Gtechniq, Gyeon, and AmmoNYC for your detailing supplies. For towels go to a 3D Detailing store if you have them. They carry the same korean microfibre towels Chemical Guys does but for a lot less.

And on the subject of Chemical Guys: try to stay away from them. They have a million different products that all do the exact same thing. For a beginner, they’re not a good source. That’s why I say stick with the above mentioned companies. They almost always only carry one or two types of each product. You don’t need twenty different soaps, you need one good one.

And ditto on watching AmmoNYC videos. I have learned so much from watching Larry. He’s a true inspiration.
